Getting Government on board

For more than a decade Currie has provided over-arching communications and marketing support for SkyBus which operates airport transfers between Melbourne Airport and the CBD.

With the debate raging over an airport rail link in Melbourne, it has been essential that SkyBus builds and maintains strong relations with key Government officials through one-on-one briefings and up-to-date and relevant activities.

The value of this activity has been demonstrated by the Government’s renewed commitment to SkyBus as the preferred public transport option between the city and airport. Stakeholder relations, issues and media management and branding strategy comprise a large proportion of the work Currie delivered for this long-term client.
